Who am I? What is this blog about?

Dear reader,

My name is Arnold Sanginga. I am Congolese, study at a High-school in Nairobi, Kenya and love to write.

The intention of this blog is to let people know of my writing and hopefully one day be recognised by someone with hope of taking me further into a writing career. I write on just about anything that comes to mind, mostly emotional poems, fictional stories based on issues that have occurred in Africa and opinions on African politics. Please do not be afraid to comment, as your comments will help me improve and encourage me.

Married two Divorce

I counted twelve weddings one day.
The next year on the very same day.
I counted twelve divorces with
the same lustful couples.

It is easy to say the those three words.
I love you.
It is easier to say those three words and mean it.
I hate you.

We fail as people,
to unite under one home, one name, one family.
It is I before Us.
It is mine before ours.

We delve into anything,
with no sense of experience.
We delve into anything,
without realising the realistic result of our choice.

For better or for worse,
In illness or in health,
until death do you part.
Is now nothing but the common cliché.

For the first week, month, year
you will be both mesmerized by the view
of each others fascinating bodies
but in the crucial moments.

Little and faint will spark up
a phoenix of destruction so great
that it will burn thy hearts and one
shall become 3 separate minds.

I dream of a couple that are intertwined
but with a foundation that sets them apart
I believe that husband and wife
can sustain an admirable relationship with the never-ending space
separating them physical.

Marriage is a bondage
we cannot break it on simple basis,
it is made to be respected for the person before you
is genuine and is like no other in this world as much as you try.
But Marriage, two, divorce is the new thing is it not?
